About Us
Earthwise Company is a community and agriculture development organization
We collaborate with a network of creative and resourceful individuals and groups to address the need for a sustainable and socially responsible way of life.
We create mindful, intentional communities with sustainable food systems based on local, living economies. This effort is built around the basics of housing, food, water, energy, and transportation.
The Time is Now.
This is a time that David C. Korten calls “The Great Turning.” We are witnessing a deep and comprehensive shift from a growth-at-any-cost system to a more sustainable “Earth Community” that the planet can support. By addressing the basics of sustainability in each project, we begin to tap into the power of community as we implement solutions one step at a time.
Why Sustainable Communities?
Local and community-based infrastructure and services form the basis of a diverse and resilient way of life. By creating a stable, secure, and sustainable economy, we will provide the opportunity for a richer, more connected life for everyone.
Why Sustainable Food Systems?
At Earthwise, we are underway in the process of developing a safe, local, and healthy food system based in the six core components of a sustainable community: Land, Water, Seeds & Breeds, Farmers, Infrastructure, and Consumers.
Our Vision
